New York Biology's Tea Tree Essential Oil Review

I tried out yet another one of New York Biology's Essential Oils, and this time it was their Tea Tree Oil. Boy are there a million ways to use this stuff! First off the product was packaged very well as usual but this time there was a small difference. There was a plastic seal on the cap when there wasn't on the other oils. I personally like the added protection even if It was a little harder to get to my product. The glass is a thick brown that protects the oil from harmful light so it can maintain its potency. It has a high quality dropper like the other essential oils as well.

The oil is collected through steam distillation and is known to have antimicrobial properties, which is why people use it in so many cleaning products.

I really like the fact they state the potency of the active ingredient on the front of the bottle. Most essential oils don't have that feature and it makes sense why this oil is recommended to be used with a neutral oil. I wouldn't recommend using the oil directly on skin as is (with acne for example I would mix a few drops with coconut oil. For other helpful tricks for using tea tree oil check out 25 Everyday Uses for Tea Tree Oil

This oil is top quality therapeutic grade like the others made by New York Biology and I would recommend this product to anyone who is already involved in the world of essential oils. I wouldn't say this is a beginners oil strictly for the fact you need to mix it with some secondary ingredients to see its full effects.

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review of their product. If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask!

New York Biology Peppermint Essential Oil Review

I was asked to do a review of New York Biology Peppermint Essential Oil, I received the product at a discounted price but I promise you that this is my honest opinion of the product as always.

The product came well packaged in thick bubble wrap and arrived on time through Amazon Prime. It cost $14.50 before shipping and has 1 FL Oz. of 100% Pure and Natural Peppermint essential oil inside.

The bottle is made of thick brown transparent glass and has a high quality glass dropper with it as well to aid the use of the product.

There is controversy over the integrity of this product because on the front of the bottle it says 100% pure peppermint oil and then under it, it states Mentha Furan 10%. I did some research on Menthofurian for myself to see if there were any truth to peoples claims, and this is what I found:

According to Occurance of Menthofurian in Oil of Peppermint by Paul Bedoukian 1948 Methofurian is the oil that is made from the flower of the peppermint plant instead of the leaves and stems. It is not an added chemical. Thus their 100% peppermint oil checks out. Secondly this oil should not be ingested because Methofurian oil is in fact toxic when consumed, however this oil aids in the external strength of the oil. So having this slightly different oil actually benefits the people using the oil for headache relief, muscle pain, and stiff joints. It also helps its bug repelling qualities as well.

Some people who tried this product said that it didn't smell like peppermint which has a very simple explanation as well. Depending on where the plant was grown it may differ in its scent.

Overall, this product is everything that it claims so you can be assured when you buy it that you are receiving a high quality product. This oil is above therapeutic grade and is perfect for external uses. I would highly recommend this product.

J2Line Microfiber Travel Towels

I recently tried out J2Line Microfiber Travel Towels and thought that I would do a review on them! These towels rock!! They are incredibly soft, crazy compact, and are extremely quick drying. They come with two towels (a large beach sized towel and a smaller face and hand towel) that are antibacterial and prevent odor and bacteria build up over time. The small face towel managed to completely absorb 3/4 cup of water and dried completely in about an hour and a half. The fabric is really good and the product is extremely well made. It fits its description on Amazon and I would personally say that it surpasses it. I took them kayaking with me last weekend and worked fantastic! Completely dried me off and it didn't even feel damp, even the next day the towel didn't smell like river water when I went to wash it. I can see why they say that it is a perfect gym towel, it honestly is. This product would make a wonderful gift for any active person and it even comes in different colors. You should check it out!

New York Biology Lavender Essential Oil

I recently tried out New York Biology's Lavender Essential Oil and this is my review. This is very high end therapeutic grade oil. It comes from the Kashmir area from the Himalayan mountains which is pretty cool. The bottle is really nice quality as well, it has very thick glass and came packaged well. I love that this oil has so many different uses and is extremely versatile. You can use it on bug bites, it has calming qualities, it helps you sleep, helps with skin disorders, and even can help your hair grow faster. This product gets five stars along with the company who makes it. They have very fast communication and really care about their products. I would highly recommend checking out this essential oil.

If you are new to the world of essential oils then I would definitely start out with lavender because it is one of the easiest oils to use and smells absolutely wonderful!

Lash Trifecta Review

Recently I ran out of mascara and decided that it was time to past the torch to a new brand. I did some looking online and found a list of the 10 Best Drugstore Mascaras of 2016 and found one called Lash Trifecta. It looked like the type of mascara that was up my alley based on the applicator that it has, so I decided to try it out.
Here is my review:
This mascara is awesome. For one, it is made in Italy which is pretty cool. The applicator is really freaking long. Seriously it was wayyyyyyy longer than my eye which was pretty intimidating. However by the time I got to my second eye I had become pretty use to it. The mascara itself glides on really smooth and is very fast drying. Which is wonderful because it minimizes clumping so your eyelashes look significantly less than artificial lashes. It has a very good formula and doesn't irritate my eyes or way them down either. I even fell asleep in my mascara and it didn't smear all over my face it was right where I left it.

Overall I was pretty impressed with this $8.90 mascara I got through Amazon. I will definitely continue to keep using the product and I give it 5 stars!
