Buena Skin 100% Natural Spirulina Scrub

This body scrub has a significant amount of positive aspects and one slightly negative one.

The positives: This product is organic and made with all natural ingredients. It does an amazing job exfoliating your skin without being abrasive. It also fights bacteria, preventing bacteria, and helps get rid of cellulite. It is by far one of the top body scrubs that I have used and I have tried everything from the expensive ones to the DIY all natural ones as well.

However the one catch that this product does have is that it smell like seaweed. If you just smell it straight out of the jar it can be pretty strong. BUT after you use it you can hardly smell anything on your body. The scent doesn't linger. To be honest I wouldn't be afraid of the smell of this product, it just shows you that the company cares enough about making a fantastic all natural product that they don't feel the need to add additional scents to mask it.

This is a great body scrub that will leave your skin soft, happy, and healthy. Over time you can even see the little bumps on the back of your arms disappearing. I would definitely recommend this product.

NeoSan Slouch Beanie Hat Review

This hat (sold here) is $8.99 and comes in thirteen different colors. It is a thick cable knitted hat that features two colors of your choosing. I chose black and yellow. This hat is not lined but it is warm and comfortable without it, so it's not necessary. It is also big enough that it slouches in the back a bit just how I like it.

It comes in a soft plastic zip bag with the companies logo and slogan on the front so it isn't damaged during shipping.

The only initial downside to this hat is that it has a bit of a factory smell when you first open it. However it wears off fairly quickly so I decided not to take points off for that. If the smell really bothers you the hat can easily be washed. I just would hang dry it so it doesn't shrink.

I give this lovely winter hat a 5 out of 5.

Sport-It Pilates Ring Review

There hasn't been a single product that Sport-It has come out with that I haven't been completely happy and satisfied with. Their Pilates ring is extremely well made and durable. It has a fiberglass core that is covered in their thick foam and the sides are made out of a hard plastic which also has foam for added grip. It would take a significant amount of pressure to bend this ring out of shape.

This product also comes with a resistance band which is long enough to do practically anything with. They also give you an instruction guide that has about twenty different exercises that you can use with the ring, resistance band, or both in combination. This product is effective at working your muscles and very versatile. It is also nice that they offer tips and different levels of difficulty to help a wide variety of people.

This product is super simple to use and is really fun to exercise with. I would definitely give the product a five out of five and I would give the company itself the same score just because of how friendly and approachable they are. The handle has a thick foam that you can't feel the metal through and the whole thing is incredibly light. Light and durable should honestly be their motto.

This cleanser is absolutely amazing. To be completely honest (which I always am on my blogs) I was extremely surprised with how easily it removed makeup. Even waterproof mascara just wiped right off and there wasn't any residue from the makeup or the cleanser. 5 out of 5.

The Sport-It Fitness 18" Foam Muscle Roller is absolutely amazing. Hands down I believe everyone should own one. It is $16.99 through Amazon and is worth every penny. It is an easy 5 out of 5 stars.

The massage stick itself is heavy duty foam wrapped around a stainless steal core. The handles are sturdy plastic with really nice rubber grips on them. The foam has two different textures: the center has a hexagonal pattern while the sides look more like doughnuts. The different textures create more versatile muscle relief which is wonderful.

You don't need to be extremely active to benefit from this product. You would be extremely surprised to find out how tense your muscles become after your daily routines. I'm a server/bartender and I do a lot of standing and walking and it has been creating a serious strain on my IT bands running down my legs. While I was watching Netflix I just used the massage stick on my legs and they felt fantastic after. In the beginning I was a bit sore but I was trying to work some of the larger knots out of my muscles, so that will be normal. It felt incredibly amazing and now I do it almost everyday after work. Kitchen Lifestyle's Moscow Mule Mug Review

This product is honestly beautiful. It is 100% real copper and hand dented. The weld for the handle is crazy strong and I can guarantee that the handle wont fall off anytime soon. It is supposed to be hand washed but that shouldn't be difficult because the opening is so big that you should easily be able to clean it. The mug holds cold very well and holds it uniformly so you don't get any cold spots.

This mug runs for 14.97 on amazon and Kitchen Lifestyle also has deals and discounts when you buy multiple mugs. Overall, great product that easily gets five stars. It is perfect for Moscow Mules and ice coffee.

Trip Worthy Pencil Sharpener Review

Usually when it comes to common products like sharpeners I already know what to expect going into it. However Trip worthy Pencil Sharpener actually managed to catch me by surprise.

This is a freaking awesome sharpener. Hands down five out of five. It is usually $15.75 through Amazon but it is worth the money. This sharpener would be fantastic for art students because of how sharp and fine it creates a tip. And it does it consistently as well without breaking the point in the process. I even tried it out on extremely cheep crappy colored pencils expecting to be able to jam it and it didn't work. Not even after multiple attempts. I am really impressed by this product if you can't tell.

The only downside to it is the amount of batteries it takes. It needs 4 AA batteries (not included with purchase). I'm not sure how long its battery life is but I'm sure that if you had some rechargeable laying around they would do just fine regardless. That is honestly the only negative I can think about.

Raccoon Brand Review

Raccoon Brand asked me to try out some clothes and talk about their brand and what they stand for. So here we go!

First off they sent me this wonderful raccoon hoodie which is definitely my new favorite hoodie and makes me incredibly excited for fall. Its black and has a raccoon both on the front and a smaller on on the back under the hood. The hoodie is made well and doesn't have any loose threads or anything and fits perfectly. Not to tight and not too loose. Also the arm length was dead on as well, which can be a hard thing to find in a fitted hoodie. It is thinly lined with fleece. I feel like if they wanted they could have made it a little thicker but personally I like the fact that it is on the thin side so I can wear it early in fall. Quality wise I give this hoodie a five out of five.

Super Peptide Eye Brightening Serum Review

I tried out Naturel Commodity's Super Peptide Eye Brightening Serum twice a day for a week and this is my review of it.

First of it was well packaged for the most part however I did have a small dent in the metal cap (not a big deal). I liked the way the plastic seal fit it perfectly, most products aren't that way so it looked very professionally done. My nozzle was a little dysfunctional however which made using the product properly a bit of a hassle. Sometimes the product comes out easy and smooth while other times it shoots out way too much and it flies across the room. It does create a bit of excitement though.

I used it twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) for a little over a week. It helped get rid of my dark circles but it didn't do anything that would have blown my mind. I feel like a product that costs $49.79 should be pretty freaking awesome and have me raving every time that I use it. This was not the case though and it acted more subtly and quite frankly, more realistically. I am pretty young and don't have saggy eyes or deep crow's feet or anything so it is a little difficult to see the full spectrum of results that this product claims to achieve. But strictly going off of my dark circles I feel like a night time moisturizer, some sleep, and a few glasses of water before bed may have let to similar results.

I don't really believe that a pill or serum (in this case) can work magic on issues that have multiple factors leading to them. Sometimes its worth saving your 50 bucks and sleeping in an extra hour instead of binge watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix.

Overall I would give this product a 4 out of 5 stars. From what I have seen it does follow through with its claims however not to the point where I think a product like this is completely necessary in ones daily routine. Also the malfunctioning nozzle doesn't help either.

New York Biology's Tea Tree Essential Oil Review

I tried out yet another one of New York Biology's Essential Oils, and this time it was their Tea Tree Oil. Boy are there a million ways to use this stuff! First off the product was packaged very well as usual but this time there was a small difference. There was a plastic seal on the cap when there wasn't on the other oils. I personally like the added protection even if It was a little harder to get to my product. The glass is a thick brown that protects the oil from harmful light so it can maintain its potency. It has a high quality dropper like the other essential oils as well.

The oil is collected through steam distillation and is known to have antimicrobial properties, which is why people use it in so many cleaning products.

I really like the fact they state the potency of the active ingredient on the front of the bottle. Most essential oils don't have that feature and it makes sense why this oil is recommended to be used with a neutral oil. I wouldn't recommend using the oil directly on skin as is (with acne for example I would mix a few drops with coconut oil. This oil is top quality therapeutic grade like the others made by New York Biology and I would recommend this product to anyone who is already involved in the world of essential oils. I wouldn't say this is a beginners oil strictly for the fact you need to mix it with some secondary ingredients to see its full effects.
